Wedding photography at Ripley Castle Weddings
Are you getting married at Ripley Castle – a great place to get married?
Ripley Castle and its surroundings are bathed in 700 years of English history. The estate boasts a lake, a walled garden, a historic ‘old side’ for civil wedding ceremonies, and a more recently added contemporary new East wing. The Boars Head, in the village of Ripley, and only 100 yards away from Ripley estate, offers accommodation. Nearby is the spa town of Harrogate, with hotels and places to stay to suit all tastes and budgets.
The old side of Ripley Castle has plenty of opportunity for superb wedding photography, especially useful in winter/autumn and on rainy days. The old side is available to couples who marry or hire the East wing too, subject to prior arrangement with the Ripley Castle wedding team.
Immediately outside the gates of Ripley Castle is All Saints Church. All Saints Church is well worth a visit in its own right, but many couples marry at All Saints and then have their wedding reception at Ripley Castle – often walking between the two if the weather is fine.
