Continuing our run of photographs from last weekend’s wedding fair at Newburgh Priory, have a look at these beauties from inside the Dining Room area. This is where wedding guests would enjoy the afternoon drinks reception at a wedding at Newburgh Priory, and it is steeped in history.
I have added a number of photos of the different stands we had on display – magician Mark Waddington was first to entertain the circulating visitors with his slight of hand. I watched him do the same tricks about 40 times each, and still don’t know how he did them. Same gags too, but fresh to each potential bride and her entourage and he really did have them cracking up. No doubt money well spent for those wishing to amuse their guests for an afternoon or evening session at the wedding reception.
Then there was me, in the corner, exhibiting a selection of wedding albums from Graphistudio, with an even wider selection of sample albums on iPad. iPads allow me to carry so much more sample stuff with me now, much lighter, and cheaper!
Smooch jewellers seemed busy throughout, and Richard Wilkinson from The Event Music Company played a variety of videos highlighting the various string trio and quartet combinations offered, as well as the big band stuff.
The girls from Yorkshire Heritage Bus Company also had a stand. They were showing a single decker and double decker vintage bus outside, and have a range of vintage buses to call upon to transport guests at wedding.
