Wedding photography at The Dower House, Knaresborough – Nicki and Paul
Nicki and Paul were recently married at St Roberts Church, Pannal, Harrogate, and went on to enjoy a lovely afternoon wedding reception at The Dower House, Knaresborough.
Nicki got ready at home, and we were then invited to photograph in her mum’s next door neighbour’s garden. This had been thoughtfully decorated in a gorgeous vintage style, and was the perfect backdrop for Nicki’s pre wedding photographs with her family and bridesmaids.
Nicki and her bridesmaids were driven to church were driven to church in a Classic wedding car by Terry Scott of Harrogate, the blue car matching the overall blue and yellow colour scheme.
After the service, guests made their way back to The Dower House in Knaresborough for drinks and canapes. We took a detour with the bride and groom to spend some quiet time taking photos down by the river at Old Mother Shipton’s Cave. We had recce’d the area a couple of weeks earlier, and I knew the better photos would be on the the Old Mother Shipton’s Cave side of the river.
The photos we took were amazing, with the weir and the bridge in the background, it was well worth the extra little journey.
The Dower House
For the rest of the afternoon Nicki and Paul enjoyed drinks at the Dower House in Knaresborough, before dinner and their first dance.
We have included a few teaser photos below for you to enjoy, before the full set of images are available when the couple return from honeymoon.
