Wedding photography at Ampleforth Abbey

Catherine and Ben were married in a wonderful service at Ampleforth Abbey recently.

Catherine wore a classically designed Fiona Clare wedding dress with a full length veil, offset by a gorgeous bouquet by florists Pat Greensit and Gillie Guthrie. Pat and Gillie also provided the magnificent flower displays which adorned the inside of Ampleforth Abbey.

Ben was supported by his best man, nine ushers, and a 6 man guard of honour.

Catherine’s father Mark proudly gave her away.

After the ceremony, the guard of honour led the couple into a tunnel of confetti, as their guests lined the route to their wedding car.

The bride and groom, their families and guests all enjoyed an afternoon reception, catered for by Dine. The guests enjoyed three excellent speeches before sitting down for dinner. Later entertainment was by 29 Fingers, a superb London based band, who began the evening with the couple’s first dance at 10.20pm – by 10.25pm the party was in full swing!!

Congratulations to Catherine and Ben, here is a selection of images from the day, and I look forward to showing the full set when you return from honeymoon.
